Prior to the AGM, an EGM was held and the new constitution for the Association was unanimously approved. Our Chairman, Malcolm Clague then presented our plans for 2022 – a total spend of £219,720.00! As there were no questions regarding the disbursements of funds, they were formally approved. The AGM was followed with a presentation by Christian Ottensmeier MD Ph.D. FRCP, Professor of Immuno-Oncology, Liverpool Head and Neck Center at the University of Liverpool, about the amazing work he is doing with Immunotherapy treatments and the trials he is undertaking with a groundbreaking
vaccine!
On behalf of the Association, MC thanked Christian for his very informative and inspirational talk and presented him with a cheque for £60,000 to further support vital research at Clatterbridge.
