At our AGM that was held on 8th June 2021, Christine Carter was proposed and duly accepted the role of President for the Charity. Christine is well known to the membership, having been a member of the Laxey and Lonan Branch for several decades as well as Secretary and Chairperson for nearly as long. In the recent Queen’s Honours Awards, Christine was a recipient of the British Empire Medal for her services to the Community and the Association. Thank you for accepting Christine and we wish you the best of luck in the role.
