Isle of Man
Anti Cancer Association

1959 - 2024

Generating funds for cancer research

Raising awareness of signs and symptoms of cancer

Supporting those affected by cancer

An author who was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and cancer gave a talk in aid of IOM Anti-Cancer Association.

Alison Forge, a motivational speaker who has published the book, Pocket Positivity, was invited by Daisy Duke, wife of late TT racer Geoff Duke, to ’empower others’ to see that change is possible regardless of challenges. The event called “Forge Ahead’ took place at Daisy’s new wellbeing centre, Free Spirit in St George’s Street, Douglas. It was very well attended and Alison & Daisy raised £733 in the process with all proceeds going to Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association.

’It was Alison’s ambition to give something back to the Isle of Man community in a way that would support wellbeing and mental health.
